1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Pfandi ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What Pfandi Does
Pfandi is a mobile application designed to help users manage Pfandbons digitally. The App allows you to upload or photograph Pfandbons, analyze Pfandbon information, store bons digitally, and display barcode information associated with stored Pfandbons.
3. User Accounts
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Pfandi. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the device you use to access the App. You may not use another person's account without permission.
4. Pfandbon Analysis Accuracy
Pfandbon data such as store name, amount, barcode information, and related details may be extracted or processed automatically and may not always be accurate or complete. Pfandi does not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or usability of extracted Pfandbon information. You are responsible for reviewing important details.
5. Barcode Display and Use
Pfandi may display or regenerate barcode information based on stored Pfandbon data. This barcode information is provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that any barcode or generated code will be accepted by a store, scanner, redemption point, or third party. Use of barcode information is at your own risk.
6. User Content
By uploading Pfandbon photos or related content, you grant Pfandi a limited right to store, process, and display that content solely for operating the App and its features. You retain ownership of your content.
If you delete your account through the App, Pfandi will attempt to delete associated Pfandbon data, uploaded photos, and account information from the active service environment. Some copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or service provider systems.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to create, support, or submit fraudulent Pfand claims
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or tamper with the App or related systems
- Use the App in violation of applicable law
- Upload content that you do not have the right to use
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

Pfandi uses services such as Firebase and Google Sign-In to operate account, storage, and Pfandbon-related features.
9. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time. We are not liable for service interruptions, delays, or unavailable features.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Pfandi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for every purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pfandi and its developers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, except where mandatory local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
